Muttville’s mission is to change the way the world thinks about and treats older dogs and to create better lives for them through rescue, foster, adoption and hospice. They reach out to senior and special needs rescue dogs; find suitable homes for those dogs that are adoptable; and offer end of life care for those that are not.

Solano County Friends of Animals (SCFOA) is a group of animal loving volunteers who are dedicated to reducing the population of unwanted and abandoned pets in Solano County by providing an adoption service for homeless pets and by actively working to provide low cost spay/neuter options and reduce the number of feral cats in Solano County.

Community Concern for Cats’ vision is to end the suffering of cats that are abandoned and homeless in the county by rescuing, spaying and neutering, providing needed medical care, and helping to find every adoptable cat a loving, permanent home. They strive to provide a better life for feral cats through sterilization, and by feeding and monitoring feral colonies.

The San Francisco Department of Animal Care and Control is committed to the delivery of effective, courteous, and responsive animal care and control services to the residents of San Francisco. They are responsible for San Francisco’s stray, injured, abandoned, neglected, and mistreated animals.

Pets Are Wonderful Support (PAWS) is a volunteer-based organization that provides for the comprehensive needs of companion animals for low-income seniors and people with HIV/AIDS and other disabling illnesses. By providing these essential support services PAWS improves the health and well-being of disabled individuals and the animals in their lives.
